If you look at it, watercolour painting is very old. It is done on paper using water-soluble pigments. Watercolour is a bit difficult, but if used correctly, it is very interesting to work with. Be it an amateur artist or a professional artist, watercolour is one medium that attracts everyone. Whether it is a school student or a commercial artist in any field of art, watercolour is a needed medium for everyone. This six-month certificate course in watercolour painting is designed in a very simple way so that the student learns it with great ease and interest. The first few sessions will include content like an introduction and equipment of water colour along with drawing exercises, drawing measurement, scribbling drawing, freehand drawing, nature drawing, landscape drawing, portrait study, and outdoor study drawing. This course includes major watercolour techniques like wet on wet and wet on dry, flat & graded wash, glazed wash, splatter & spray, stamped texture, tissue paper texture, plastic wrap texture, wax resist, dry brush, and dryer tips for the students. By the end of this course, students will be self-sufficient in creating works such as landscapes, portraits, and figurative work.
